Makerere University Department of Food Science and Technology

The complex is located on Makerere Hill and accommodates teaching, laboratory and productions spaces. The courtyard form, with clay tiled roofs and simple plastered walls, is consistent with the earliest and most durable buildings on the campus. A small egg-shaped convention centre is placed at the entrance. The project was funded by NORAD and undertaken in association with Norplan Uganda Ltd.
